What went down: RunningWorks is a grassroots nonprofit organization which seeks to improve the health and well-being of underserved communities. These vulnerable communities are at higher risk of negative health disparities and outcomes. RunningWorks seeks to address these issues by promoting positive lifestyle habits through wellness initiatives, life skill development, social support and case management.
Volunteers helped at the Charlotte Racefest Half Marathon & 10K, where RunningWorks serves as the charitable beneficiary. Volunteer duties included set up, bag check, start/finish line help, hydration station and registration. Thank you for helping to contribute to RunningWorks' vision of creating a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive as their healthiest self.
