Event details: Sunday, April 10, 2022 | 12-4 pm ET | Presque Isle State Park (301 Peninsula Drive, Erie, Pennsylvania 16505)
What went down: Presque Isle State Park is a 3,200-acre sandy peninsula on Lake Erie and is the only "seashore" in Pennsylvania. It is beloved by the residents of Erie and is visited by millions of people from the greater Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio area. Many animals call Presque Isle home.
Project leader, Ashley, was joined by an online student who traveled from two hours away for the cleanup! They spent the afternoon walking, getting to know each other, and filled a large trash bag with garbage, including firework shells and lots of confetti. The two connected over their mutual love of SNHU and plan to meet up again over the summer.
